damn, this is another good eclipse plugin: http://quantum.sourceforge.net got this one via eric and it’s exactly as he describes it:

Setup was reasonably simple and I started accessing an oracle database right away. Quantum creates a new database perspective within Eclipse. From this perspective, you can browse through the tables, run SQL statements and query for data. Simple. Easy. Nice.
