remember i was looking for a way to set the connection timeout on a URL. no? well, doesn’t matter, i did. :p

so, instead of doing it in that horrible way of setting a system property, i used Jakartas HttpClient. very easy. you create a new HttpClient object and set the connection timeout. tjak, tjak, Soetaert, lol :)
