Still no connection via linux, but I’m not giving up. No sir! :)

I configured my linksys card correctly (I guess) with ndiswrapper. When I run iwconfig I see “wlan0” so I guess that’s ok then. I also enabled dhcp. Should I do anything else?

Tonight I gonna try these instructions a bit, maybe that will help. It sounds good, so maybe it will work.
